Okay my results are horrible and well haha if you think positive like chuan " I'll probably get the best progress award!" Lol
Anyway, went after band to Dover Parkview to celebrate David's birthday. Woohoo
Happy Belated Birthday David! Though you'll never see this, but thats not the point. Most of the missions team came except for Anna, Eunice, daryl and my bro. Yup, so while the rest were swimming ( Gab Soh and Ong, Zhi Peng, Zhi Hao, Janice, Lynn and Carolyn) Trica, Zing and I were talking at the deckchairs. Well it was great to like just laze around and talk and like not care about anything. And the food was great, especially the quiche which Tricia ate like 7 i think. Haha. So we just talked around and it was great seeing David again! And he's still as cheeky as ever.
Anyway, we were supposed to leave at 930 but we were waiting for Yong to come, in which he came around 945. Then we were waiting aimlessly for gab ong and zhi peng who apparently were like having the time of their life together in the sauna while we just waited, wondering what they were doing. So when they finally came out at 10 plus, we had to wait for them to change and stuff. Anyway we ended up leaving at like 1045, 1 h plus later than our original plan cause David suddenly disappeared to send his friends to the mrt ( which we didnt know) and he made a second trip really fast. then we didn't want to leave cause it was really bad to not say bye like face to face so we waited for him to come back, in which he wanted to send us but there were so many of us so oh well.
This is when our adventure begins. When we finally got out of the condo, we were contemplating whether to take MRT which was like a 10 min walk from the condo, or take 196 ( which was apparently existent acc to ong ) So, as lazy pigs, we decided the bus. So we walked to the bus stop and found out that there was no 196 but this guy heard us and directed us to some other bus stop. So when we finally made our way to that ulu, secluded bus stop, 196 was Non-existent. How amazing. So we took 14 which was a crazy decision but since there werent any other buses, we had no choice. So we took like 30-45 min JUST to get to town. and from town to bedok by 14 is like a crazy 1h plus. So Zhi Peng, Zing, Janice and I decided to get off at the stop near city hall. So we got off jaywalked that crazy road and like got to raffles city. Walked in and realised the exits were all sealed so we had to walk through the hotel. Got out of the hotel and walked in a direction which we assumed would lead us to the bus stop but well, we ended up going in a circle! Wonderful. So in desperate measures like this we totally jumped at any cab we saw and the first we saw was this black cool cab of which we were definitely unable to board. So we like flagged a cab and got in. Wow great then we stopped at bedok inter and well, bused back with janice and got home at like 1230. So much for 196.
Anyway, the pool totally reminded us of the last day in missions where we went to the beach and scuba dived and ate and like ate that big pig they roasted. Hahah. Aah, memories. Oh yes, and also seeing david drive reminded us of how David sped along the roads of Cebu at night. Night rides, the memories! Fun fun fun. haha.
